About The Author:

Kesstan Blandin, PhD, is a research psychologist specializing in personality and identity, and for several years, in dementia. She worked with people in the early stages of dementia and family members through all stages at the Dartmouth Centers for Health & Aging in New Hampshire. Dr. Blandin has published in peer-reviewed journals on dementia and co-authored The Emotional Journey of the Alzheimer's Family with Rober Santulli, MD, the previous director of geriatric psychiatry at Dartmouth Medical Center and her former colleague. Currently, Dr. Blandin is a research psychologist at the Center for Applications of Psychological Type in Florida and adjunct faculty at Pacifica Graduate Institute in California.
